Some call him a folk hero. Others think he's a disgrace to journalism. Ian Murphy of the buffalobeast.com draws strong reactions after his prank call to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker last month. In the call Walker thought he was talking to David Koch, a billionaire backer of his campaign and other right-wing organizations. In the call it became very evident that Walker's priority was to crush the unions, not just balance the budget.
Today (Tuesday March 8, 2011) you'll have your opportunity to ask Murphy questions in a live video event at The UpTake.
In the above video The UpTake's Sam Mayfield reports on the latest from the occupation of Madison's State Capitol. The uprising of thousands of citizens is in response to Walker's attempt to severely limit collective bargaining rights for public employees.
